What Is Bodh?
We call Bodh as Enlightenment in English — but it doesn’t mean knowing everything in the universe.
It simply means awakening to one powerful truth that completely transforms your being.

Let’s Make It Simple:
When people hear the word “enlightenment,” they often imagine someone who knows all the secrets of the universe — every divine mystery, every hidden truth.
But that’s not what it really means.
True enlightenment isn’t about knowing everything.
It’s about realizing one deep spiritual truth — so clearly and completely that your entire life shifts.
In Easy Words:
“Enlightenment is waking up to who you truly are — beyond body, mind, and emotions.”
It’s the moment you connect with a higher reality. A moment of spiritual clarity where everything inside you aligns.
But here’s the important part:
Even the most evolved souls don’t know the entire universe.
The universe is infinite — filled with countless tattvas (divine energies, paths, or principles).
No single human, saint, or even deity holds all of them.
Real-Life Examples:
Let’s look at how great masters reached enlightenment — each through a different path:
Lord Buddha awakened through the tattva of silence and detachment. His path was deep meditation, inner stillness, and compassion.
Jesus Christ awakened through the tattva of love and sacrifice. His path was healing, forgiveness, and divine service.
Adi Shankaracharya realized the tattva of Advaita — that the soul and God are not separate, but one.
Each became enlightened through a different truth — a different tattva.
Their paths were not the same, but they all led to the same divine light.
Just like different rays coming from one sun.
What It Really Takes to Reach Enlightenment
Om — The Key to Consciousness in Mandukya Upanishad
The Mandukya Upanishad teaches us that Om (Aum) is not just a sound — it’s a symbol of your entire consciousness. Meditating on Om helps you travel inward, through four states of awareness. Each part of the sound A-U-M represents a different level of being:
1️.”A” — Jagrat (Waking State)
This is the state we live in daily — where we interact with the outer world. Here, we are identified with the body and senses.
–This state is linked to Vaishvanara, the consciousness that sees the world through action and perception.
2️.”U” — Svapna (Dream State)
In dreams, the outer world disappears. The mind creates its own reality.
— This state is ruled by Taijasa, the inner light of the mind that reflects your desires, fears, and memories.
3️. “M” — Sushupti (Deep Sleep)
Here, the mind and senses are completely at rest. No thoughts, no dreams — just deep stillness.
— This is the state of Prajna, where only seed-like awareness remains, free from all distractions, here a person experience the param tattva but in deep sleep.
4️.Silence After AUM — Turiya (The Fourth State)
This is beyond all three states. It’s the pure silence after the chant ends — not sleep, not dreams, not waking.
— This is Bodh — pure consciousness, the Self, untouched and eternal. It is not an experience, but the witness of all experiences.
Realizing the Self Through Om:
By meditating on Om and deeply understanding these four stages, a person transcends the cycle of desire, birth, and death.
He or she awakens to the true nature of the Self (Atman) — which is limitless, peaceful, and free.
What is the Difference Between Bodh and Bodh Tattva?
- Bodh (बोध) – The Awakening
Bodh means enlightenment or awakening — the moment when a person realizes a deep spiritual truth.
It is the state of awareness where one sees beyond the physical world and understands the higher reality of their existence.
Think of Bodh as the experience — the actual moment when your inner being wakes up and you become conscious of who you really are.
Bodh = The realization. The awakening moment.
- Bodh Tattva (बोध तत्व) – The Element of Truth That Awakens You
Bodh Tattva is the specific divine principle, element, or energy through which that awakening happens.
Different people awaken through different tattvas based on their past life karmas, sadhanas, and inner makeup.
Bodh Tattva = The pathway or truth that leads you to Bodh (enlightenment).
How Does a Person Reach These States?
Kundalini and the Power of Om
Chanting Om or meditating on your true Self naturally awakens the Kundalini Shakti — the divine energy within you.
This powerful vibration gently lifts your energy from the lower chakras to the higher ones, slowly aligning your mind, body, and spirit with Turiya, the fourth state of pure consciousness described in the Mandukya Upanishad.
In Simple Words:
Kundalini Shakti is like your inner rocket fuel — it launches you out of your limited, everyday thinking and guides you toward something vast and divine.
It helps you rise into the light of Bodh Tattva, the deep spiritual truth of who you really are beyond body and mind.
Here’s a relatable example to help bring the concept to life:
A Simple example: The Lamp Within
Imagine a small clay lamp in a dark room. The lamp has oil inside it — but the flame is missing.
Now, someone walks in and lights the lamp. Suddenly, the whole room glows.
In the same way, Kundalini Shakti is the oil that’s already within you. It holds deep spiritual energy from many lifetimes.
Om chanting or meditation is like the matchstick — it lights the lamp.
As the flame grows, it pushes away the darkness of doubt, fear, and confusion.
You begin to see your true nature — not just as a body or mind, but as a spark of the infinite divine.
That moment of realization, when the lamp inside you fully lights up — is what we call Bodh.
It’s not about learning something new. It’s about remembering the light you’ve always carried within.
Why Different People Experience Different Tattvas — Even With the Same Mantra?
Enlightenment Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All
Spiritual awakening — or bodh — isn’t about following the same path as someone else.
It’s a deeply personal journey, shaped by your past-life energies, karmas, and siddhis (spiritual abilities).
When someone reaches the Turiya state — the 4th state of consciousness mentioned in the Mandukya Upanishad — their Kundalini Shakti begins to open a hidden spiritual library inside them.
This library holds all the wisdom, powers, and efforts they’ve collected over many lifetimes.
You Become a Spiritual Receiver
At that stage, the seeker becomes like a transmitter and receiver:
- They send out spiritual vibrations through mantras or devotion.
- And they attract exactly the tattva (divine truth or energy) that belongs to their soul.
So, even if two people are chanting Om Namah Shivaya, one may feel deep stillness, while the other may feel a burst of love or even past-life memories — because their soul paths are different.
How Saints Create Spiritual Paths
This is also how great saints and masters form spiritual movements or paths.
When their Kundalini Shakti fully awakens, they rise into pure consciousness.
From that space, they receive divine directions — subtle energies and powers connected to their spiritual lineage.
These divine energies form a strong aura, guiding them toward their mission.
Based on this, they create spiritual teachings or paths that help others connect with the same tattva.
Think of it like this:
- Buddha walked the path of stillness and detachment.
- Jesus walked the path of love and sacrifice.
- Guru Nanak walked the path of surrender and service.
Each followed their own tattva — and shared it with the world.
Your Mantra Unlocks Your Truth
When your Kundalini merges with your mantra, it unlocks the exact path your soul is meant to walk.
That’s why it’s not about copying someone else’s experience —
It’s about unfolding your own, one mantra, one breath, one awakening at a time.
Following that inner direction, such enlightened beings eventually create spiritual paths or movements that align with their unique tattva — just like Guru Nanak Sahib, Bhagwan Buddha, Prophet Muhammad, or Jesus Christ. Each walked a different path, but all were rooted in deep realization of Self and universal truth.
Why Do We Call Some Saints “Gods”?
We often hear names like Guru Nanak Sahib, Bhagwan Buddha, Prophet Muhammad, or Jesus Christ being referred to not just as saints — but as Gods. But why?
Let’s simplify it with an example:
Imagine two spiritual seekers.
- One has access to only a few siddhis and divine energies from their past lives.
- The other has access to millions of siddhis and powerful spiritual energies accumulated over many lifetimes.
Naturally, the one with a vast ocean of awakened powers, divine grace, and realized truths will shine much brighter. This soul becomes a beacon, a divine guide — and is remembered as God in human form.
So here’s the key:
A person is seen as a God not because of outer miracles, but because of the immense inner access to divine energies and siddhis across countless births.
Meanwhile, someone with fewer siddhis may still be a realized soul, a saint — especially in comparison to those who have no access at all to their spiritual inheritance. But the degree of awakened consciousness and power is what sets them apart.
In short:
The more awakened your past-life powers through Kundalini and divine grace, the closer you are to God-realization — and the world recognizes that light.
When Kundalini Shakti Becomes a Divine Highway to Your Past Lives
We often hear people say that crossing the seven chakras of the body and reaching the crown chakra is the ultimate goal of spiritual awakening. But that’s only part of the truth. Real enlightenment begins much beyond that—and it’s a journey where your Kundalini Shakti becomes the key to unlocking your past life energies, siddhis, and ultimately, your divine purpose.
Kundalini Isn’t Just Energy — It’s Your Prarthana in Motion
Kundalini Shakti isn’t just a mystical energy —
It’s your Prarthana Shakti — the deep power of your soul’s true prayer — in action.
When this energy awakens, it begins its journey upward — from the root chakra to the crown.
Most people think, “That’s it, I’ve made it!” once the energy reaches the crown.
But in truth, that’s just the starting line.
More Than 7 Chakras — The Hidden Spiral
Kundalini doesn’t rise just once. It moves in cycles —
ascending, returning to the root, and rising again, stronger each time.
It doesn’t stop at the 7 physical chakras. It travels through 14 chakras —
7 inside the body and 7 beyond it — to cross into the first spiritual dimension.
Think of it like a tall tower:
Chakras are like steps,
Dimensions are like floors,
And Lokas (spiritual realms) are the buildings beyond.
Can We Count Chakras or Dimensions?
The number of chakras? Finite but we can not count them
As you grow spiritually, more chakras open — there’s no limit.
The number of dimensions? Finite — but we can’t count them easily.
However, through higher spiritual vision, we recognize sets of dimensions as Lokas.
So, the journey of Kundalini is never-ending.
Even after reaching enlightenment, it keeps evolving —
crossing chakras, breaking through dimensions, and entering deeper Lokas.
When the Base Leaves the Body
As Kundalini Shakti rises higher and crosses into a Loka,
its base shifts upward — moving from the root chakra through the higher centers —
until it eventually leaves the physical body completely.
This moment marks a powerful transformation.
Once outside the body, Kundalini doesn’t just float aimlessly —
it settles either on the left side or the right side of the body.
Which side it chooses depends on which nadi (energy channel) is active in that person.
And that, in turn, is linked to their spiritual lineage —
whether they are Suryavanshi (solar lineage) or Chandravanshi (lunar lineage).
- If your Surya Nadi (right channel) is dominant, the energy may shift to the right.
- If your Chandra Nadi (left channel) is dominant, it may shift to the left.
This placement shapes how your energy flows, how your siddhis awaken,
and how your spiritual path unfolds from that point forward.
You Become Protected — Inside Out
When Kundalini is still inside the body, it can be affected by astral forces or black magic.
But when its base shifts outside the body, you become energetically shielded.
Astral attacks lose their power — you’re now on a different plane altogether.
When Kundalini Becomes the Mantra
Once Kundalini moves beyond the body,
it starts to take the shape of the mantra you’ve been chanting.
It doesn’t just rise anymore —
it transforms into a powerful spiritual path shaped by:
your inner vibrations,
your past lives,
and the divine truth your soul has always been aligned with.
So, the real journey of Kundalini isn’t just about reaching the crown chakra.
It’s about becoming the divine vibration you were always meant to be —
one step, one dimension, one loka at a time.
Unlocking Past Life Siddhis: Becoming a True Receiver
When your Kundalini Shakti rises and crosses different lokas (spiritual realms), and its base settles at the crown chakra, something powerful begins to happen —
you start receiving the siddhis (divine abilities) and energies you earned in your past lives.
At this stage, the lower chakras go silent, and the focus of your energy shifts completely to the higher realms.
What you receive isn’t borrowed or gifted — it’s your soul’s own spiritual wealth, gathered through lifetimes of sadhana and evolution.
If someone gives you a siddhi that isn’t truly yours, it won’t stay forever. It may help for a while, but eventually, it fades.
But when the siddhi comes from your own past life, it becomes a natural, permanent part of you — deeply rooted in your being.
That’s why real masters don’t chase powers. They simply awaken what already belongs to them — through the rising of their Kundalini Shakti.
Why Asking for Powers from Saints Doesn’t Always stays
Many people go to saints and request powers or energies. A saint might share some temporary siddhis using his own Kundalini, but if those energies don’t belong to you, they won’t stay. Unless the saint is deeply connected to you, those powers will return to him.
The truth is, your real siddhis are within you, waiting to be awakened through sincere spiritual work.
From Seeker to Source: When Kundalini Becomes Self-Sufficient
When your Kundalini Shakti rises to a very high level and its base moves completely outside your physical body, a deep transformation begins.
These outer bases are actually your chakras, and through the third eye, they appear as rotating discs or plates spinning just outside your body — constantly feeding you divine energy.
At this stage, your Kundalini becomes fully self-sufficient.
You no longer depend on any external divine force — your own energy becomes your source.
This is when even deities begin to look for you — because your inner power has become so radiant, stable, and pure, it naturally attracts and supports higher forces.
You move from being just a seeker… to becoming a source.
The Final Leap: Becoming the Son of God
As your Kundalini expands further (astrally growing up to 15 lakh kilometers in size!), it eventually touches the root chakra of a deity. This divine merging means that the deity’s root chakra now resides within your body. At this level, you are no longer just a devotee—you become a God’s child.
The Final Thought: You Already Have Everything
We often forget that we are immortal beings. The soul never dies. This means we carry infinite powers, siddhis, and experiences from countless lifetimes. The spiritual path doesn’t give you something new—it only returns what’s already yours.
So stop chasing powers outside. Dive deep within. Energize your Prarthana Shakti. Let your Kundalini rise, and you’ll see—the God you’ve been praying to has always been within you.
